Salvation

Have You Accepted ChristAs Savior

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so right now, before you log off the computer. It won't take long at all, and it's easy! Just say a simple prayer acknowledging your sin, (a sample is given below), and ask that the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross on your behalf cleanse you from your sin.  Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life.

Sample Prayer

"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and worthy of death. But Lord, I believe that you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. You arose from the dead and are alive today. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins, purify my thoughts, words, and deeds that I may turn from my sins and be more like you. Now I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and become Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you Lord, for answering my prayer, and coming into my heart this very moment. In Jesus' precious name I pray, Amen."

If you have just accepted Jesus, or if you still have questions, we would love to hear from you.

Finding Jesus...

We believe that through the sin of Adam, man fell into sin and is, therefore, lost apart from Christ. When Adam sinned, mankind incurred both physical and spiritual death; thus man became eternally separated from God and is incapable of providing redemption for himself. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (heaven).

Salvation is the gift of God and includes the forgiveness of sins, the imputation of the Righteousness of Jesus Christ, and the gift of eternal life. Salvation is received by faith alone, apart from all good works and merit. The Lord Jesus Christ, of his own free will, died on the cross to be the sacrifice for the redemption of man and that he bore the judgment required by Gods holy justice against sin, thus making it possible for God to remain just and yet at the same time to justify those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

Faith which leads to salvation produces repentance in the life of a believer. Those who by faith alone and through no merit of their own receive the Lord Jesus as Savior are miraculously born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God and partakers of His divine nature and eternal life. At death, the souls of the redeemed pass immediately into Christ's presence, to remain there until the resurrection of the body at Christ's return for His bride. At death, the souls of the lost (those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord) go to Hell, where they will remain until they are brought before Christ at the Great White Throne of final judgment to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, there to remain eternally.

Useful Resources for Bringing Salvation
Below are some Scriptures from the Holy Bible (NIV) that clearly explain salvation:

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

- Romans 6:23

...But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

- Luke 13:3

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.

- I Peter 3:18

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

- Romans 5:8

Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

- Acts 3:19

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

- Romans 10:9-10

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

- I John 1:9

Yet to all who received him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

- John 1:12

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his son. We who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

- I John 5:11-13
